Jeffrey Gurian's "Make 'Em Laugh"

Jeffrey Gurian (Comedy Matters) has a new book!!
The book is called Make ’Em Laugh: 35 Years of the Comic Strip, the Greatest Comedy Club of All Time.

As Jerry Seinfeld once said, “When you are a kid starting out as a stand-up comic . . . you dream about the nine o’clock spot on Saturday night at the Comic Strip,” and this book chronicles the thirty-five-year legacy this NYC venue has created for itself.

Make ’Em Laugh is an inside look at how the club began and rose to fame, told from interviews conducted with the stars who built their careers on its stage. From Jerry Seinfeld, Paul Reiser, and Lisa Lampanelli to Billy Crystal, Ray Romano, Tony Rock and more, this book is built on intimate memories, behind-the-scenes insights, and reflections on the Strip’s important role in shaping the careers of some of comedy’s brightest stars.

Including a foreword by Chris Rock, Make ’Em Laugh is sure to become a staple for any comedian or comedy lover’s library!
